PACP Certified Pipeline Assessments
If you want to sell your home or have recently completed a home remodel valued over $50,000, you may need to get a pipeline assessment. PACP (Pipeline Assessment Certification Program) training is the gold standard for sewer pipeline assessments in the US. In fact, many municipalities require plumbing contractors to be PACP certified. This is to ensure plumbers provide an up-to-date and standardized method of reporting for this service.
Gotelli’s pipeline assessment technicians are PACP and LACP certified. The LACP (Lateral Assessment Certification Program) certification is an extension of the PACP. This secondary certification includes extra training on plumbing codes for pipeline access points and fitting
What to Expect During Your Pipeline Assessment Appointment
When you schedule an appointment with Gotelli, your service technician will look for sewer pipe defects and assess the overall condition of your pipeline’s infrastructure. They will identify:
- Structural Defects: damage to the pipe itself such as cracks, holes, deformations, or surface damage.
- Operation and maintenance defects: issues relating to the operation and overall maintenance of the pipeline such as obstructions caused by foreign objects, presence of vermin, or root penetration and growth.
- Construction defects: defective conditions attributed to how the pipeline was built such as intruding seal material or misalignments.
- Other defects: any problems not specified by the above categories.
